4D3N PNH-KRT-RKR (Phnom Penh-Kratie-Ratanakiri)

(AJT/3PNH/KRT/RKR/01)

Day 1: Phnom Penh-Kampong Cham–Kratie (-/-/D)
  • Depart from Phnom Penh to Kratie, en-route stop at Skun village for Photograph of the deep fried of Spider then continue to visit Wat Nokhor Bachey, with its ancient temple and modern style pagoda 12th century, a short tour of Kompong Cham includes of colonial architecture. Make a brief stop at some of the rubber plantations in the region established by French tire maker Michelin.
  • Continue to Prek Kampi. It is about 15km north of the Kratie province town for a lovely view of the Mekong River and scores of Small Island and thousands of green aquatic plants. This natural site is the home of Irrawaddy dolphin then return to Kratie town and check-in at hotel.
  • Dinner at local restaurant and accommodation at hotel
Day 2 : Kratrie – Ratanakiri (B/-/D)
  • Breakfast at hotel
  • Depart to Ratanakiri and on our first expedition, we travel north, in the direction of Laos, passing the volcanic rocks of Vealrum Plang, a lava field in a forest with a small waterfall and “tiger cave” nearby. Then continue to the village of Taveng, crossing through various types of landscapes: primary forest, clear forest, bamboo forest and “African Bush”. We stop at a few Kroeung villages along the way. The Kroeung have a custom of erecting bachelor houses standing on long bamboo poles.
  • Visit Banlung market and then drives approximately 3 kilometers from Banlung to visit Yeak Laom Lake, a basin in the middle of an extinct inland volcano surrounded by lush forest growth, it is beautiful and perfectly-round stretch of water.
  • Dinner at local restaurant and accommodation at hotel
Day 3 : Ratanakiri (B/-/D)
  • Breakfast at hotel
  • Today free at leisure to explore some of the small waterfalls and hill-tribe villages by watching the tribal customs.
  • Dinner at local restaurant and accommodation at hotel
Day 4 : Ratanakiri – Phnom Penh (B/L/-)
  • Breakfast at hotel.
  • Lunch at local restaurant then continue to the capital with end of services.

  • Hotel accommodation based on twin bed sharing room with daily breakfast
  • Meal as specified in the program (B=Breakfast, L=Lunch, D=Dinner)
  • All ground private transport by modern air-conditioned vehicle.
  • Sightseeing as specified in the itinerary including entrance fees.
  • English speaking local guide throughout. Other languages are subject to availability at the time of booking and may be subject to supplement.
  • 2 bottles of mineral water per day while on tour.
Not included:
  • A Cambodian visa can be obtained on arrival at Phnom Penh Int’l Airport for a cost of $20US per person (one passport photo required).
  • International Airfares, international departure airport tax US$25 per person
  • Personal Laundry, drinks, meals, tips or any other incidental expenses are not mentioned in the above.
